CAMPUS
========
A radical group of students have been stockpiling weapons on their university campus. A rise in beer prices at their local student union bar prompts them to seize control in the name of their organisation, the WTD (Work-shy Tax Dodgers)....

GAMETYPES
=========
FFA, TDM, TS, CTF, C&H and FTL are all supported, as are bots. I recommend you give CTF a go though as that was what the map was designed for.

INSTALLATION
============
Put the file "ut_campus.pk3" in your Quake III/q3ut2 folder. Make sure the file extension is ".pk3". (You may find that it's been changed to ".zip" by your PC, if this is the case, just change it back to ".pk3"). You can then select the map in the server setup menu or type "devmap ut_campusbeta" in the console (without the quote marks).

"TO DO" LIST (RAN OUT OF TIME)
==============================

-Add detail & textures to bar

-Add bikes chained to railings outside

-Replace brown stone texture on building with tower (and improve the tower)

-Add door by "B" block security and by inner courtyard?

-Change transparent water cooler texture

-Add more signs - neon for bar & kebab shop, plus signs outside each building

-Tweak hint brushes

-Landscape the large sloping strip of grass in front of B-block

-Change texture on monitor screens

-Tweak location markers & spawns

-Relight some areas, replace some light fittings & add others. Did have a cool white fading to yellow effect on the ball lights but seem to have screwed it up at some point in development, leaving a uniform pale yellow effect instead. Not sure what I changed but need to experiment.

-New skybox (I'm going to have a crack at making something similar to the existing skybox, but with more of a sunset/late evening feel. I want to keep the city-look though).

-Better bot navigation (There are very few botroams in the map, I'll add some more to sort out some of the areas they don't like too much).

-Tweak the doors. I want to make apparent which doors you can open & which are locked. Might add a triggerable sound effect of someone trying a door handle to the locked doors.

-Retexture arcade machine coin slots & casing

-Smashable mirrors in the toilets. These have been bugging the hell out of me - can't seem to get more than 2 of the 3 working properly if I compile the whole map rather than just the region the mirrors are in. Also need to replace the temporary smashed textures with something a bit more realistic.

-Sounds. Again, these are just temporary placeholders. I'll try and record something better when I get a chance.

-Do an extra light compile.
